Biography

Born and raised in Miami as a second-generation Cuban-American, Raymond Ferrer brings a deep, personal connection to the South Florida community he serves. A graduate of Christopher Columbus High School, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance from the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida before obtaining his Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami Gardens, where he studied on scholarship and was a frequent Dean’s List honoree.

Admitted to The Florida Bar in 2014 and to the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida, Raymond has spent more than a decade building a Miami practice in personal injury, property insurance, and estate planning. His civil litigation experience includes trying cases to verdict and obtaining jury verdicts in his clients’ favor. He also has extensive experience handling probate matters in court. That work is part of why planning matters to him: he has seen what happens when a family is left without a will, a trust, or someone authorized to act. That experience now shapes the wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives he prepares at Ferrer Counsel.

Fluent in English and Spanish, Raymond is committed to making sure every client is heard and understood, regardless of which language they are most comfortable speaking. Client reviews across independent legal directories consistently point to his responsiveness, clear communication, and ability to resolve matters efficiently — the same client-first approach he brings to estate planning.

Outside the courtroom, Raymond is a devoted husband and father of three and an avid golfer who values time with his family across South Florida. That same commitment to family is part of what draws him to estate planning — having built his career on being there for clients in their hardest moments, he understands firsthand what it means to make sure a family is protected and provided for.
